PROPOSAL
With Harry Potter on its way out, the live-action adaptation of the Thundercats can become Warner Bros. next big franchise to sweep the globe! Forget The Hobbit, this would be the next Lord of the Rings! And should follow that model--filmed back-to-back. With economies of scale, sets won't have to be built and rebuilt and the cast will be locked in.

While there have been murmurings of a movie for at least a decade, I stand in a unique position. You will have two major markets--the children who will buy all the merchandise and their reminiscent parents who grew up with the show and still look upon it fondly. I was one of those children in the 80s and am now one of the adults that would love to see my heroes back in action, true to the original without being bastardized as so many adaptations are today.

Feeling it was my calling, after much research, I outlined my epic 5-film franchise adaptation and began to write. Each is a stand-alone piece that, nonetheless, contains bonding threads that interconnect and almost subconsciously set the future stages. Advantageous to having been all written at once, there are no messy plot holes or continuity issues to deal with as we near the end of the series and any questions the audience may have had are answered over time.

I would appreciate the opportunity to further discuss the Thundercats with the copyright holders at Warner Bros. or a referral to anyone else you think it would be beneficial for me to speak with.

Sincerely,

Frederick William Springer III
