ELECTRIC WAVE PRODUCTIONS™, the Motion Picture Unit side of this coin, strives to make entertaining films for young adults. Electric Wave Productions™ unofficially came into being in 2000, stamped on the small class projects Frederick William Springer III, founder and president, was working on at the time. He simply thought the name was cool, having created a comic book character of the same name 7 years earlier.
In 2002, Fred began working on his Senior Thesis, an abbreviated version of one of his feature-length screenplays. The result was the 2003 short film Roommies, from which Electric Wave Productions™ was officially born and unveiled to the public, no longer just a gleam in its creator's eye.
